Equality Bill – MUT’s update and feedback process
The MUT has been following the discussion regarding the equality bill. The union notes that the proposed bill is vague in a number of aspects, giving rise to interpretations which may impact the conditions of work of educators. The union held initial meetings with a number of stakeholders and it is also opening a feedback process with members to understand better the concerns. The union shall be meeting the respective Ministries in the coming days to provide its feedback.
