Education Stops Violence – the conference, book and toolkit
Fondazzjoni Sagħtar organised the conference ‘Education Stops Violence’ which saw the participation of educators, student support staff and educational leaders. The conference which discussed domestic violence and gender-based violence included the launch of a book for children ‘Milo – Vjolenza Qatt u ma’ Ħadd’ and a toolkit for educators ‘Together Against Violence’. The book shall be distributed freely to Year 6 students whilst the toolkit for educators is available here. You can view the video of the conference here.
This project, titled Vjolenza Qatt u ma’ Ħadd, led by Fondazzjoni Sagħtar, is funded by the Commission on Gender-Based Violence and Domestic Violence and the Parliamentary Secretary for Reforms and Equality through the Together We Empower programme.
