Church Schools financial adjustments
The MUT is clarifying that contrary to what is being implied by some, the financial adjustments to educators in Church Schools do not depend on the signing of a collective agreement with Church Schools. This is instead based on the allocation of funds from the Government to Church Schools and on the workings of Church Schools to issue payments to respective employees. The Union held implementation meetings with both parties and is informed that these processes are ongoing. Details regarding the issuing of financial adjustments to employees in Church Schools will be communicated by the Secretariat for Catholic Education.
