Members are hereby being advised that the directive for Complementary Teachers on in-class visits is being withdrawn after a circular regulating complementary work is being issued by the DQSE in the coming days. Any persons with difficulty should contact the Union.

Teaching load distribution and replacements

The MUT wrote to the Director for Education Resources after it received a complaint from members at Mosta Zokrija Secondary School in relation to teaching load distribution and replacements. The Union asked the DES to look into the matter and the Director for Education Resources has confirmed that he is looking into this.

Directive on Outings and Meetings Forms at St. Thomas More College

The MUT is informed that St. Thomas More College has created templates and forms for educational outings and for departmental meetings which the Union considers an insult to the teaching profession and to educators alike. The MUT therefore directs all members at this College to ignore these templates.
