Negotiations on a new sectoral agreement resumed this week and two meeting were held whilst a series of meetings were scheduled for this month. Discussions are focusing on the conditions of work and financials. The MUT shall be updating members following this round of negotiations.

The MUT reminds that the directive on ticking of LOs and BLOs is still applicable for all year groups in State schools and in Church schools. All teachers are to refrain from carrying out LOs and BLOs ticking. Any pressure to carry out ticking should be reported to the union.
