Breach of agreement on guidance teacher duties
The MUT is informed that guidance teachers in various secondary schools in different colleges are being assigned replacements. This is a breach of the sectoral agreement, and affected educators should ignore communications by the DES to perform replacement lessons accordingly. The MUT is expecting that MEDE communicates again with College Principals and affected teachers specifying that the DES was wrong in its previous communication regarding replacement of guidance teachers.
