Ongoing directives at MCAST and ITS
Directives at MCAST and ITS are ongoing and MUT thanks all members for the support. The MUT shall be attending a conciliation meeting with MCAST and with ITS early next week to discuss the situation and to seek solutions. Changes in half-days school hours – objection
The MUT has objected to changes in school hours during half-days in state schools. The MUT is receiving information that some schools are being requested to shift the opening/closing time during half-days. Discussions are ongoing to solve this issue. The MUT shall not accept any changes.

MUT meets European Parliament President Roberta Metsola
MUT Officials welcomed President Roberta Metsola during a visit held at MUT. Matters pertaining to the education sector and the European Union were discussed during the meeting. MUT Officials congratulated her for the leadership of the European Parliament. President Metsola declared her appreciation towards the work of educators and the MUT.
