Allowance – Childcare
Following the announcement that the government shall issue an annual allowance of Eur 500+ for Childcare Educators with a basic knowledge of Maltese, the MUT has communicated with the Education Ministry. Since Childcare Educators who are native speakers have more than a basic knowledge of Maltese, the MUT is requesting that the new allowance is applicable to all Childcare Educators to refrain from implementing discriminatory practices.
