Lack of CD/DVD drives on new laptops
Following feedback regarding the new laptops being distributed in State Schools, which do not have CD/DVD drives, the MUT communicated with the DQSE on this issue and was assured that it will be addressed accordingly. Currently, some textbooks and resources still make use of a CD or DVD and therefore educators need a means to utilise them and/or transfer them to other media such as pen-drives. The MUT will continue to follow this issue and report any news to members.
