Implementation of the Sectoral Agreement for State Schools and the Collective agreement for Church Schools – update
The MUT is currently holding discussions with the Education Ministry to settle some remaining issues regarding financials of the sectoral agreement together with the implementation of the role of Senior Teacher, the Administrative Officer, and free courses for Supply Grades amongst others. It is also following a number of individual cases related to the implementation. The Union and Ministry are registering significant progress on the implementation. Details on the above and other implementation measures will be issued once the implementation is about to commence. The Union shall also be communicating with the Church Secretariat and Independent Schools about applicable implementation measures.
