New Collective Agreement for the Public Service
The MUT together with the other nine unions* representing Public Service employees signed a new collective agreement with the Government. The new agreement is effective from 1st January 2025 till 31st December 2030. These are the salient improvements in the new agreement which affect MUT grades:
Improved financials of all salary scales
Established linear relativity between scales 1 to 20 by the end of the agreement
No reduction of allowances during sick leave entitlements
Improved qualification allowances and applicability
Introduction of long service bonus
The MUT shall now follow the implementation of the agreement with the central government and the Education Ministry
