MUT Council announces a revised timeline
The MUT council has unanimously approved a revised timeline which shall lead to the vote on the Sectoral Agreement. The Council discussed feedback from members and is pleased to present a revised timeline. The MUT is always ready to improve the practices adopted for the benefit of all members. The MUT has already announced the set of online meetings and the viewing procedure in a separate communication. Further details follow:
During the presentation meeting of Thursday 30th May in Birgu, four participants will be selected and tasked to oversee the voting process. During the presentation meeting of Friday 31st May in Victoria, a fifth participant will be selected and tasked to oversee the voting process. The group will be meeting MUT Officials and the Auditing Company overseeing the voting process and they shall continue to follow the process until the announcement of the result.
Members who registered to vote in the agreement shall be invited to attend a face-to-face Ratification Meeting on Tuesday 4th June at 14.00, aimed to initiate the voting process. During the meeting there shall be technical information about the vote and the procedure. A communication shall be sent directly to these members.
Voting on the agreement shall be opened following the Ratification Meeting on Tuesday 4th June (at ca. 16.00 hours) and shall remain open until Wednesday 5th June at 19.00. The result of the vote shall be published when the voting period closes.
