MUT issues ultimatum to the Ministry for Education regarding MAV College Centre Coordinators
The Malta Union of Teachers has issued an ultimatum which shall expire on Thursday 10th June at noon since the Ministry for Education failed to implement a recommendation regarding the change of grade of Centre Coordinators at the MAV College. This is a long-standing issue, which has been followed by MUT and respective Centre Coordinators for a number of months, and it is now evident that the Ministry is not willing to give the required status to these grades, to the college and to the schools that they manage. If the situation shall not be unblocked by the ultimatum date, the MUT shall be declaring a trade dispute with the Government and it shall order industrial action at the MAV college.
