MUT requests meeting with Ministry for Education and Health authorities regarding COVID-19 notification procedures in schools and educational institutions
The MUT has communicated with the Education Ministry and Health Authority to request a meeting regarding notification procedures recommended by Health Authorities if there is contact with a COVID-19 positive case in schools and educational institutions. The MUT is making this request since different educational institutions are adopting different procedures to notify staff and students regarding contact with COVID-19 positive cases. The MUT insists on a standardised procedure which shall ensure that there is no speculation about COVID-19 cases in schools whilst at the same time ensuring transparency in the information issued.
