MUT gives notice of declaration of trade dispute with MEDE on National Student Support Services grades
The MUT has informed the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry for Education and Employment that it is giving notice of a declaration of a trade dispute with MEDE on Monday 4th February. This is being done in view of information received from the Union about MEDE’s plans to stop a number of services offered by the centre, redeploy personnel or make personnel redundant. Whilst the MUT conceded that MEDE required more time to come up with reactions to MUT’s proposals about the student services agreement, MEDE is already taking decisions affecting the said personnel without informing the Union.
