Issues related to Gozitan Educators Transport
The MUT has asked the Ministry for Education and Employment to intervene immediately on an issue affecting Gozitan members who work in Malta. Due to a new free transport service being offered by the Government to schools, Gozitan educators are now having issues with finding transport providers for themselves, as they usually do, to take them from Ċirkewwa to their workplace and back. The MUT is informed that the only providers available are charging educators at least double the price charged previously. The MUT has provided a number of acceptable solutions to the Ministry in this regard so that the service for students doesn’t impact educators. An update will be issued accordingly.
