Abusive behaviour towards educators at St. Patrick’s
The MUT wrote to the head at St. Patrick’s after it was reliably informed that a number of students are often manifesting abusive, threatening and aggressive behaviour towards educators at the school. The MUT therefore asked the office of the Head to investigate what is going on with urgency and take disciplinary measures accordingly. It also called for a case conference with experts in the field to devise methodologies on how to cater for these students.
In conclusion, the Union stated that if the situation remains unchanged by Friday 27th January it will direct its members to refrain from entering any classroom, lab or other educational space where the students in question are present. The Union also asked the school to explain the plan for these students.
