Denied increments and progression for persons on alternative duties
The MUT wrote to the DG Operations after it was contacted by members who are not receiving the correct salary after they were denied their due scale progression and/or annual increments on account of reduced load/alternative duties. The MUT stated that such practice is not just and asked the Operations Directorate to process these pending at once. In a reply, the Directorate is setting a meeting on the matter, after which the Union will report updates accordingly.
