Directive for members at DSS and issue related to end of term one
Following communication with the Ministry for Education & Employment, the MUT would like to update members at State Schools on the following two issues:
a) Regarding the Directorate for Student Services, the Union is directing members to ignore any verbal orders from officials and/or consultants and only take orders in writing.
b) Regarding the issues related to the last day of term one, the Director General has confirmed that there was an initial difficulty relating to the transition of children from school to Klabb 3-16 but this has now been sorted. Therefore the Director General has confirmed that all planned activities can go on in the same pattern as per last year.
