MUT issues directive on school visits during the school closure period
The MUT received information that school administration and other educators are being pressured to visit schools for one reason or another, including for collection of copybooks or for replacement of tablets. The MUT reminds everyone that the well-being of all needs to be safeguarded and is therefore issuing the following directive. The MUT is directing all members including school administration to refrain from accepting requests to visit schools. The only exceptions are related to the provision of exam scripts if they are currently in possession of teachers or other situation which must be agreed upon between the respective employer and the MUT. All other visits to the respective schools should be stopped.
