The Union reminds members that medical personnel attending sickness verification visits to teaching grades cannot amend personal medical certificates issued by other GPs. Members who experience these situations are asked to report the case to the Union.

The MUT would like to remind Learning Support Assistants in State Schools that they are directed to attend to statemented students in their charge if they are present at school and not to leave their students if they are re-assigned to take over other students due to sick-leave or other leave.
