Collection of money

The MUT would like to note that it has not changed its direction regarding the collection of money by teachers. Teachers are not responsible for such collections and can always refuse to collect any money. Any instances of pressure to comply can be reported to the MUT through the usual channels.

Directive to SMT on Cyberbullying guidelines

The MUT is hereby directing all SMT members to ignore the communication received from MEDE regarding standard operating procedures/guidelines on Cyberbullying as these were never discussed/agreed upon with the MUT. The Union communicated its disagreement with MEDE.

The MUT would like to highlight that teachers cannot be expected to provide a printed copy of exam papers or any other material which is provided as an electronic copy. Members are requested to report to the Union any undue pressure to provide printed material.
