Assistant Heads and Heads of Schools directed not to take work of contractor servicing tablets
The MUT is directing all SMT members in State and Church Schools to refrain from carrying out new duties being requested from MEDE regarding the replacement/servicing of tablets. The MUT is informed that SMT in schools are being expected to carry out work on repairs/ replacement of tablets instead of the contractor. If MEDE is not capable of regulating its contractor so that they stick to the agreed terms of the contract, the Ministry cannot expect SMT members to carry out such duties instead of the contractor.
